LAKE MARION

Poplar Creek Landing offers full service camper hookups, primitive campsites on the water, 2 boat landings, a general store & bait/tackle shop, lakeside restaurant, boat rentals, boat refueling dock on the water, guided fishing tours, and wildlife tours. The landing also has an enclosed pavilion for church functions, corporate retreats, or family reunions. The trailer/cabin units can accomodate 6-12 people, depending on the unit. Each unit is fully furnished and stocked with linens and cooking utensils. We are open 365 days per year and can provide lodging for up to a total of 42 people to accomodate your special gathering, retreat, or reunion.

 

POPLAR CREEK BOAT LANDING

Poplar Creek Landing and campground is located at the north end of lake Marion, the largest impoundment in South Carolina, consisting of 110,000 acres of pristine water, flooded cypress forest, abundant wildlife, and some of the best fishing and hunting in the southeastern United States. It is located 65 miles east of Charleston, S.C.

We love to boast about our mild and temperate winters.

Together Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie (60,000 acres) comprise what is known as the Santee-Cooper, world renown for record catfish, stripers, pan fish, and bass

The pavilion is an excellent gathering place for large functions. Conveniently located near the entrance to Poplar Creek Landing and campground.
